I work as a Research Assistant Professor at Kartik’s Chandran Lab, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York.

My interest goes from microscopic to macroscopic: Can we use protein sequence and structural information to characterize cellular responses upon pathogen infection? I integrate molecular modeling, machine learning, enrichment and network analysis to predict and evaluate pathogen host protein-protein interactions and the underlying biological pathways targeted during infection.

This systems biology approach enables us to learn principles underlying pathogen infection and identify new pharmacological targets that could potentially be used to treat a particular infection.
